Loved the large terrace and entrance to the shared pool! Good location within walking distance to a good coffee shop & salad bar! Also moped rental directly from the hotel was good!

The bed was very uncomfortable and the shower had very little water pressure (only was a trickle really). You would leave the please make up my room and no one would (we stayed for 3 nights and had to ask someone on the property for it to be cleaned as it hadn’t been done)

The hotel is great, loads of pools and access to a small beach, the beach itself isn’t great but to have one a few years away was great. Balcony was lovely and everything in the room worked perfectly.

During our stay 2 electrical transformers exploded on the street adjacent, this led to know power or water for 10 hours of one of our days. Granted it was out of their control but there was no update on when we could expect anything back or any discount given for one days stay seeing as we had no basic necessities.

Our bungalow was right on the beach.

A nice small resort a stone's throw away from the Mae Nam beach. I stayed at the deluxe room but they have several other room options, some right at the beach. The room was quite spacious and comfy and the staff were really friendly. Great value for money!

The resort seemed a bit 'run down' from outside, however, my room was modern & new inside. Some kids started jumping into the pool from 7am so you might be up very early if located in the building with kids as the windows are not really noise proof.

Closeness to beach and location for restaurants and cafes. Great rooms, pool and value for money

We had a poolside room, which many of them are. The room was a reasonable size, and there was a patio off it. The ac was efficient. It looks like breakfast is offered in peak seasons, but not during our stay. To get to the main street you have to walk onto the beach and then about fifty metres to the end of the street. Access to the main road is down a laneway which has movement sensor lights at night. It's probably safe, but we chose to access by the main street and beach. The staff were very helpful.

The mattress was old and lumpy, as the springs had gone. Hard, like most Thai beds, but it was really uncomfortable. This room was showing its age, with things like cracked tiles and loose fittings. The first room in a different wing that we were in for a few minutes looked to be new, but we asked to be moved because our neighbour was drunk and partying. That's not on the hotel of course.

Superior room with deck, table, loungers and easy access to pool. Staff were really friendly at all times. Easy access to the fab Mae Nam beach. Easy access via a lane at resort entrance to Chinese Market streets with shops restaurants and bakery.

Toilet didn’t flush well, overall resort issue I believe. Pool tiles were not grouted and some broken tiles. Pool had algae so not ‘balanced’.

the bed and pillow were so hard. Being thrown off the beach at 4.30 and at dinner at 9.30 with a glass of wine just ordered. The false advertising of live music on the beach every Wednesday night. The unfriendly people who work there. The owner who barely says hello never minds asking if everything is good. He just sits at a table close by doing his accounts or on his phone. Having to always check the bill because there was a mistake everytime and then argue about what was on it. Our last two days we used the place ONLY for sleeping. Ask for a Taxi and they request 800 Baht, grab a taxi on the street and pay 400 Baht. Yes, the place does not cost a lot but you can still smile and say good morning, hello or good evening!

Best location i Mae Nam. However, I don't think Mae Nam is very charming. The manager very nice. Big rooms.

Apparently you can only use the pool that is designated to your room. So if you think you want to use the big pool, be prepared to book the more expensive rooms. We got a room by the smallest pool and the pool was not clean, so the manager said we could use the big pool. But the other guests did not like this, cause they paid more, so they told us several times to go away, and were very bothered with us beeing there. Not a nice feeling.

I-was-expecting-to-pay-all-in-cash-as-I-had-for-most-Booking.com-hotels! Breakfast-was-THB300-wheras-all-local-hotels-along-beach-charged-THB150-200. Breakfast-tables-not-cleared-so-invariably-had-to-wait.Crockery-removed-but-tables-not-wiped! Plates-dirty-and-cracked!Egg-station-didn't-look-clean. Not-enough-beach-beanbags-or-umbrellas.

This hotel is in a great location, right beside Walking Street. There are good restaurants all around. The beach beds are the most comfortable I've ever been on, being large bean bags, although they do move you off them around 4.30 - 5pm to set up for their very short dinner service. Breakfast is fair but could have more varieties of fruit. The little cat on the resort is talkative and friendly.

There could be more flexibility on check out. I asked for a later check out but was told I had to be out by 11am, or pay almost the rate of a full night's stay for check out at 3pm, which didn't seem a realistic proposition. I checked out at 11am as required but my room hadn't been cleaned when I left at 3pm so I could have used it for a shower after all. As it was, I went to the airport still covered in sand and sun cream.

We were allowed to check out late which was great. Hotel does not have fitnesscenter but found a new opened fitness center just around the corner with great machines! Many possibilities to get a massage on the beach.

Good beach front location. Big swimming pool with access straight from room (if paid extra). Restaurant on site/beach front. Friendly staff.

This was our most expensive hotel within the three weeks Thailand trip and we booked as a birthday treat for a member of our group...sadly it didn’t quite meet our expectations. Stained bed sheets. Springs in mattress broken causing discomfort. Towels a bit smelly. No reception on tv. No lights on the pathways around apartment blocks which were full of frogs and bugs at night we couldn’t see until it was to late. Hotel offered a taxi/boat ticket to Koh Tao for 1000THB per person...when you can get a taxi for 250TBH (between 4 of us) to the pier and get your own ticket for 600THB...I understand people need to make money but unless this was a miss miscommunication I found this to be a bit of a chancing con laid on by management to catch vulnerable guests/tourists who don’t know the area/prices of things yet.

The location has to be the best thing. It was quiet, on the beach and within a really short distance via road or beach of some amazing restaurants (tripadvisors reviews on food are not wrong!) The staff were friendly and helpful too. Beanbags on the beach were great to relax on.

The aircon took a long time to cool the room! The property could have had a shower curtain but I think that wet rooms seem to be the way in Thailand!

Koh Samui is for me waste of time but Florist Resort is fantastic. Clean, luxury ...you have everything you need. Clean beach(I think this is the best beach on island), very long pool ( 3 pools) and fantastic stuff. First night I had problems with my stomach because I ate in the restaurant near Florist ( their restaurant was closed). Florist also has nice and clean restaurant. I am really sorry that we changed the location after 4 days :(.

Staff were all friendly. Beds were quite comfortable. Location on the beach and next to Walking Street was great.

Resort feels tired. Probably 10 years past it's best. Rooms not particularly well cleaned. Towels and linen a little grubby. Wifi not great. Breakfast dull. Guests are (politely) forced to leave loungers and bean bags at any time from 4.15 - 4.30 to make room for evening dining tables on the beach - which during our stay at least were hardly used. Booked a standard room, which was horrible - dark and just not comfortable - the door and window fittings had huge gaps allowing many mosquitoes into the room each night. Asked if I could pay for a better room for the remainder of stay and was told nothing was available, so looked on booking.com and saw that 2 superior rooms seemed to be free for the duration of stay. When I showed the staff they eventually agreed a change of room. It shouldn't have been that difficult. Oh, and booked and paid for a transfer from the airport on arrival, which didn't show up - an admin error on the hotel's part....Not great after 20 hours of traveling and didn't really feel the apology was adequate. I guess it was a last minute budget option - but reinforced for me that it's worth paying a bit more for real comfort and quality.
